Hello Families,

What are you doing this weekend to celebrate the fabulous fall weather? I’ve got an idea! Come to the High and explore Witness: The Art of Jerry Pinkney. This exhibition features work from children’s book illustrator and Caldecott Medal winner Jerry Pinkney. The images are magical and everyone in your family will love it (adults included!).

On Sunday, you can catch the 2 pm family tour that will focus on Pinkney’s exhibition. After the tour, grab a pillow in our comfy reading area and sit down for a 3 pm reading from Mundo Hispanico Editor, Rodrigo Cervantes. Mr. Cervantes will be reading a Pinkney book of his choice. We have guest readers coming to visit throughout the run of the exhibition. You can find out more here.

Sounds fun right? See you this Sunday!

Be there or be square,
