Hello family friends,

Are you looking for something new and fun to do with your family this year? Come join us for our first Second Sunday Funday of 2012 happening this Sunday, January 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. We will be picking apart Pablo Picasso in our workshops.

See Picasso’s work up close in Picasso to Warhol. Then head to the workshops to make  a Picasso-style mask that combines your face and a colorful profile you create. After mask making you can practice your cubist style by reinterpreting a painting from the High’s permanent collection using simple shapes.

But wait, there’s more! Artist Grainger McKoy will be in the galleries to answer questions about his artwork. You can check out his exhibition currently on display at the High. This is the closing weekend of his exhibition so be sure to catch it before it flies away.

See you Sunday!
