It’s that time of year again. When backpacks are put away, pencil cases begin to collect dust, and school clothes get shoved to the back of the closet. Creativitiy doesn’t take a summer break! In fact, here at the High we’re working harder than ever to bring you some art fun throughout the summer.

The first thing to mark on your calendar is Toddler Thursday. Every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. drop by our studio in the Greene Family Education Center to craft an original artwork with your tot. Head into the galleries to investigate our featured work of art and to listen to a story with everyone’s favorite feline art expert, Ellsworth Kitty. Pack up the stroller because this is a play date that you don’t want to miss.

Next pencil in Second Sunday Funday.  You can catch original performances, worldly music, crafty art activities, and more. All of this family fun is included with Museum admission and is free for members. Check High.org for details as dates approach.

Don’t sweat summer,
