Erin is out raking leaves today, but do not fear! I, Ellsworth Kitty, am here to save the day. Secretly, I love when Erin is out of the office because I get to take over the blog. Today I want to share what we have coming up in November. It is a busy month for the education department, so I wanted to give you a chance to mark your calendar for some cool and crafty upcoming programs.

Sunday, November 14

Second Sunday Funday: Daring Dalí Icons

1–4 p.m.

Delve into the details of Salvador Dalí’s artwork. Today is your day to get into Dalí’s mind. You’ll listen to Spanish guitar, design a shrinky dink necklace, piece together a Dalí-inspired collage, and play a surreal game. Come prepared to fully embrace Dalí!

Friday, November 26

Dilly Dally with Dalí

10 a.m.–7 p.m.

Join us for family fun the day after Thanksgiving. Make a mustache, design a fancy hat, catch a magic show, watch flamenco dancing, and learn some surreal dance moves of your own.

Saturday, November 27, and Sunday, November 28

Hands-on for the Holidays

1–4 p.m.

Prove yourself a worthy jewelry crafter. Put your own creative twist on some surreal jewelry and make it original, just like Dalí.

Wow! We have a busy month ahead of us. I’m so excited to have this many chances to see you at the Museum. Mark your calendars and we’ll see you soon.

Signing off for now,

Ellsworth Kitty
