Highly Hands-On

Family Programs at the High Museum of Art

What to do this weekend? October 7, 2010

Filed under: Upcoming Events — erinkdougherty @ 2:20 pm

I have two great ideas for some family fun this weekend. First, on Saturday, October 9, you can join in on some drawing in the galleries excitement as we celebrate The Big Draw at the High. We’ll provide the model and drawing supplies, you just bring your artistic talent. Drop in anytime between 1 and 4 p.m. to draw.

If you can’t draw with us on Saturday, or if you have so much fun that you decide you must return to the High on Sunday, we have more activities lined up for you! Come celebrate Target Free Family Day at the Woodruff Arts Center on October 10 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. The High will offer free admission, which means that you get to enjoy Salvador Dalí: The Late Work at no cost!

Art activities and performances will take place all over the WAC campus throughout the day. For more information and to register, please visit our website at http://www.woodruffcenter.org/target.aspx or call 1-866-449-5165.

Hooray for wonderful weekends!
