Design-it-Yourself Summer Studio Projects June 10, 2010

Filed under: In Studio Projects — erinkdougherty @ 6:14 pm

I hope that you were able to check out our summer kick-off on June 5. If you missed it, don’t worry—we have plenty of art coming up during our Design-it-Yourself Summer! Every Friday and Saturday in June and July we will have drop-in studios from 1 to 4 p.m., with a different project every week. Here is what we have in store for June:

June 11 and 12: 3-D Paper Cars

Stop in for some creative car designing. Turn an ordinary piece of paper into a custom-made 3D car.

June 18 and 19: Wheel-y Painting

Join us for an experimental painting workshop where your canvas will be a map and your brush will be the wheels of a toy car.

June 25 and 26: Sticker Stationary

Make your own stationary by using dot stickers. It’s perfect for writing letters to your summer pen pal.

Working hard to design summer fun,

P.S.  We also have our monthly Second Sunday Funday planned for Sunday, June 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. Join us on the Sifly Piazza for live music, and to help embellish an art car with Atlanta artist Sister Louisa. Check out the details here:
