Highly Hands-On

Family Programs at the High Museum of Art

The High’s Official Start of Summer June 4, 2010

Filed under: In Studio Projects — erinkdougherty @ 10:32 am

I know that summer doesn’t officially start until June 21, but we here in the public programs department couldn’t wait that long to launch our summer programming extravaganza, which is packed full of art, adventure, and learning fun. Things kick off on June 5 with a drop-in Saturday Studio. Come to the Greene Family Education Center anytime between 1 and 4 p.m. to design a mini chair to take home with you.

June 5 is also the opening of European Design Since 1985: Shaping the New Century. You can get some fabulous design inspiration from the galleries and apply it to your mini chair.

See you on the High’s first day of summer,

P.S.  If you are interested in volunteering at any of our education programs, please contact Lisa Davis at lisa.davis@woodruffcenter.org.
